Have a mate looking for a nice camping spot by the beach with some non-hardcore trails.
2-3 hours south of Sydney would be ideal. He's in a stock Prado in his own so more scenic stuff than rock crawling would be good.
Any suggestions?
There are free camping grounds between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay (closer to Ulladulla) in the Meroo NP, nice bush by the beach. I've camped there twice and visited the area 4 times. There are 4WD tracks in the close vicinity too. Also at Batemans Bay, there are tracks just on the northern side where the forest starts, you can go all the way to the sea cliffs, nice views but might be a bit tight in places.
