I wonder why Jeep have been so quite on this as it is certainly damning enough to affect sales; not to mention existing owners' safety!

Not quite Richo. I think it's a new video. The original test had the GC failing, and this one still has it failing after they did x y and z as per Jeeps specs, but still a problem.

A Volvo and VW are lower than a Jeep. I'd love to see how a Prado, Patrol or Cruiser handles it.

I saw an LC200 go up on 2 wheels getting on the onramp at Beenleigh, but not to the extent that GC did. Physics is a pain, especially when your rollover mitigation software is not aggressive.

Of course, for comedy value it would be interesting to see a Wrangler go through that test.

Also, for comparisons, a German magazine had the GC pass the moose testL

At the end of the day this is a test designed by the Muppets Swedish Chef!

How can you have a variable, such as the actual driver of the vehicle, and claim the test shows a result that only happens on certain vehicles?

A true test is one were all the variables are controlled to remove any chance of a "variable" input source skewing the result in either direction.

Why are these the only people on the planet that test like this? Because you can tailer the results to suit your desired outcome. Swing the steering wheel a little earlier/harder/softer/longer etc, and the results will change.

I've seen a lot of image of WK Grands at wreckers, Pickles and Manhein Fowles but not a single one that has been rolled. If things were as bad as they are trying to make out they are there would be so many rolled WK's out there youo would need a crash hat to drive to Ikea!
