Default replace ball joints
It has come to time I now need to replace my ball joints in front of our zg grand Cherokee was wondering if any one in Brisbane knows where I can hire the. Ball joint press from what I have read need a special tool to press out and back in, if any one in Brisbane can help be great Ipswich area or caboolture thanks the help would be great full

If the ZG is like the WG you may also need some additional adapters not supplied with the basic kit. Just worthwhile keeping this in mind.

If I remember correctly they are a bit like a HQ Holden lower ball joint
I just used to belt the old ones out maybe a bit of heat from the oxy
Put the new ones in the freezer as soon as you get them the freezer makes then contract a bit then using a very large G clamp and some big sockets I would push the new ones in if the control arm was a bit flogged I would centre punch around the seat of the joint in the control arm to make the ball joint sit snug
I was also younger and fitter then LOL
