Default JK Exhaust System Hi Temp Paint

I'm thinking of painting the exhaust system on the JK black using a White Knight Hi Temp Heat Resistant Paint spray can (see attached pic). Has anyone here done something similar? Thanks.

I am interested to see how you go as I have a set of extractors that I am thinking of doing this to. Be watching this thread with interest.

Me too. The rusty exhaust and rear muffler look shocking. Also interested to hear others results.

I painted my exhaust about 6 months ago using VHT Flame proof in a flat black. It has held up well and looks good. Just cleaned the surface with brake clean and sprayed away, no need for primer. The flat is not for everyone's taste, looks like a chalk board. But touching up is easy as it blends itself. I wanted my exhaust to be invisible and the flat black does a great job of that.

Did the rear section of the exhaust today as a test. It's a flat black but looks good I think so next week I'll do the whole exhaust system. Time will tell whether it holds up. Thanks guys.

Finally got around to do the whole exhaust. It was a pain to get rid of all the mud though and the Karcher came in handy. The rear section I did a few weeks ago looks as good as when I first did it....
