Default New Brakes - WH

Hi guys,

I'm starting to get slight shudder in my brakes (like the old WJ) so think it's about time to look at new rotors (and pads obviously).

Kolak has a special on Stillers. Any comments or recommendations? http://www.stillen.com/products/brak...rotors-100504/

The US guys say they are pretty good.

Hi,

Here's all the information about the Stillen sale for your WK:

Stillen released their cross-drilled rotors for the WK/XK back about four years ago and I've been selling many sets. Odd as it may seem, there appears to be some problem with the stock rotors warping on the WK/XK and the Stillens will not only resolve that potential issue but improve overall performance, including stopping power and fade resistance.

Price for the front pair of rotors is $205.00 for the pair and the rear rotors are $200.00 for the pair.

The Stillen Metal Matrix pads are an excellent pad compound with low dust, no noise, and excellent cold/hot stopping power. Price is $65.00 for the front set and $58.00 for the rear set.

NEWS FLASH: The Stillens are on sale this week at the prices below. This is the lowest price ever for the finest rotors and pads I've ever tested.

The WK front rotors are on sale for $172.00

The rear rotors are $162.00

Front pads are on sale for $50.00

Rear pads are on sale for $45.00
Let me know what you think -

Thanks,

Nick Ianuzzi <-Kolak

I wouldn't use cross drilled rotors if you're ever going to be offroading. Why not see how much the DBA rotors are at Supercheap. You'll have to get them to ring as they don't keep stock. Only Facodores and Toyomitsunissans.

Yep - I had thought that, but as I haven't taken it offroad in over a year, I can't imagine I will be doing it a lot soon. I still have the springs and shocks sitting at home to fit.

Even when I did go offroad in the WJ, I always kept away from too much mud due to all the mechanical issues (expense) it can cause.

Thanks - where are these from, or do you sell them? That's better than e-bay. If yours, do you have pads?

Cheers
