33 x12.5 with no real mods but will get slight rubbing at full lock. 285/70 would probably do the trick spot on

The 285's will rub on the sway bar & top of spring tower using the standard offset rims

I've seen on more than a few threads that 265/70R17 will fit on a stock JK, so that should suit the OP. Now, I know that the tyre size isn't readily available down here, but do you think 255/80R17 would fit on a stock JK without any modification to the suspension?

265/70/17's are basically the same rolling diameter as the stock 245/70/17's so height wise they're no problem at all on stock suspension. They're a touch wider but not enough to rub anywhere, even on stock rims.

255/80/17's should (as far as I know) be OK with a stock set up. No issues width wise obviously. Might just need to check the bump stops, especially if you disconnect the front sway bar and get more articulation. Pity they're not readily available here otherwise I think they'd be a popular tyre for the JK's.

For me I think if I had a manual Sport (and therefore had the 3.21 diff ratios) I'd be tempted to stay with the 265/70/17's. You don't gain any height but they fill the guards nicely, look slightly better and don't affect the already questionable overall gearing. With an auto Sport (as I have) or a Rubi, both of which have better diff ratios, I'd go the either the 255/80/17's if you want to import them yourself, or the 285/70/17's (as I've got on mine). Both are about the same height......33" for the 255/80's, 32.7" for the 285/70's. You do get slight rubbing with the 285's as they're that little bit wider but it's easy enough to work around. Both should be OK with stock suspension (perhaps with slightly larger bump stops) though doing that reduces your overall travel so both work better with small lift.

I thought 75 profile would do this but a 70 profile is only about 32.8" so not much bigger than a stock rubi tyre?
