Default Body Armour?

Hi all
looking at getting some Body Armour for my JKU,I will be fitting them without any side rails, theses are the ones I've been looking at
EVO MFG - Rock Skins
Poison Spyder - Body Armour (steel or aluminum)
Smittybilt XRC Body Cladding
any info on them will be great ie
how hard are they to fit!
how well do they fit!
if you have them are you happy with them! or are they all pretty much the same and it just comes down to which ones you think look the best on the JK
cheers for any info

Nutserts seemed like a "no go there" sort of deal breaker for me.

When getting my skins I will be getting DRNCA-4210 to install them... seems like its better than any other way.
I have followed a number of youtube installs and they all seem to stuff up a couple nutserts using supplied tools.

Anyway, Just thought it may help a few of you out there

Default Nutserts

I have the metalcloak body armour aka exo skins. Easy to install take your time on the nutserts you can stuff it up as I did with a couple. I just had a bolt and a nut as a tool.

Regarding inner rubber, why bother just add a bead of silicon on top your never going to take them off again so who cares about the paint work underneath. If you did your Got a dozen holes to look at..

Regarding Dafra tools they don't yet have imperial mandrals so installing USA parts with supplied imperial nutserts might be a problem. There getting some in so maybe in a few months they can cover this..

Hey mate, for ease of install I bought a 'proper' nut sert tool from the states. Cost me about $ 140 but was worth every cent. I didn't spin one nutsert during the install.
It is a big job drilling 40 odd holes into your jeep but worth it all the way> I used closed cell neoperene? under the rock skins as a gasket.
Will be watching this closely as time goes by for corrosion, but so far so good.
Cheers George
