Default Finally bit the bullet

Hey guys , I'm so excited I've finally but the bullet and purchased my bran new jaeco eagle out back pop top camper trailer ,

It's still 8 weeks away being built so I have time to change a few options.
Hoping I have gotten everything right I only wanto do this once hahaha.

From standard they give u next to nothing so had to order a few extras..

First up extended draw bar so the jk can open a tailgate,
Gas hot water service with external shower and hot water to sink
Extra gas bottle and regulator
Extra 82 lt water tank
Wind out awning
Wind up tv antenna
12 volt tv screen
DVD player with internal and external speakers
Anderson charge wire to vehicle

There batteries and management system really suk so ill bomb this my self..
I hope there's nothing else to get cant wait to hit the road again, my old campers had its good days.

Any suggestions on what I'm missing? Cheers any input really appreciated !

Yup sorry standard they have a queen and double beds that slide out,
And already had alloy wheels, large three way fridge , it's like a caravan but a pop top and the beds slide out the ends.

Treg hitch didn't think of! I think it comes with a swivel type normal hitch .
They quote it a shock proof hitch ?

Will this be ok on my shoit camper trailer it has a normal box trailer hitch

Be realistic about how it will be used, I see so many at carvan parks (where most of the extra stuff is not required), that you have to conclude people over buy. Extra tankage and gas bottles are not required for weekend trips, and often they are cheaper from aftermarket suppliers. I recently spent two weeks on theDarling River and never needed to worry about carrying a shower or extra gas. Unless you are going to be remote (no facilities) camping for more than a week it's just over spending and over-loading. Remember you have to tow all that stuff, and the weight will affect performance, fuel economy, etc

Glend, ure exactly right 100%, we do go on large trips ie 6000ks , try and camp only at free sites wich are lucky to have a toilet or water, only stop into a caravan park to use laundry facilities , darn ripp offs haha.

Should of added we have kids so showerwater and extra gas is a must cause the fridge will run gas most the time .

I hate being locked into someone's back yard so love the state forestry type camping .

Might even get up the beach in this one hahaha I hate sand

I found the standard fridge set up less than satisfactory and ended up putting three little computer 12v fans under the evaporator and it work much better. Just my 2c worth.
