Default 01 front bumpstop re-fit?

My front bumpstops have fallen out and are floating around inside the coils. Looking at the parts manual, they are different to earlier bumpstops in that they don't seem to bolt in.

I plan to do some suspension work in the future (replacing trailing arms), so will address the bumpstop problem while there. But does anyone know if they are a common failure?

Can I assume that they just push back into place? I'm wondering why they dropped out in the first place....

They look okay but I am thinking if I need to replace them it'd be good to get them now before I pull everything apart.

This is in a completely std 01 Classic btw. A 2in lift is in the plans, but not yet...

I had that happen on my, turned out it was slightly damaged so wouldn't stay in place. Got a new from 4x4point for $16-17 bucks.

Yer just push in. If they fall out just a bit of silcon would hold them in. Otherwise [URL="http://www.Wooder.com.au"] Give Dave a call he's located at Hornsby
