Default Sway bar disconnected keeps bending over drag link...

Guys, need some help with this, I thought this was a once off freak thing that happened a few weeks ago but it happened again last night. When I disconnect the sway bar (links still connected, rubicon sway bar motor unlocked) at full passenger side front droop and drivers side front tuck the sway bar is inverting itself and coming down in front of the drag link, tie rod bars and bananaing my sway bar link as per photos. My sway bar sits pretty level at rest with a slight rise at the linked end but very minimal.

I don't understand how it is happening!

I think you are correct Wally, looks like you have lifted your JK with longer shocks, but still have standard shocks.

I have longer coils and same 4inch ranchos, like the ones I bought off you. I've then added shock relocation brackets to the front and rear to raise the shocks 2 inches. The coils I'm using are aev for a JKU, they don't seem to compress all the way, I have 2 inch bump stops and don't touch the foam pads on full cross up, with some travel left on the shocks. Seems to be working well. I just need to change the drive shafts soon.

I thought the sway bar was meant to sit level at rest. Mine is sitting slightly higher at sway bar link end. The links I'm pretty sure are for a 4inch ARB lift. I was thinking maybe they are too long. This is how sway bar sits at rest.

At full droop, does your link line up with the bar?? Does your shock reach the end of its travel?? If not, the link is short and holding your shock from drooping. I've seen, and heard of people using manual disconnects as well as the electric disco's

Mine has done the very same thing on my last 2 trips. Have to get a new set. Mine sit in the same position as yours when on road. Have a look at this: http://www.jkowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76720
Looks like I need longer ones. I have had mine in for about 8 months and has only just started happening.
