Default 1967 Cj on Gumtree
I missed out on this one by an hour.

The ad was on gumtree for 5 hours when I saw it, and somebody had already lined up a viewing.

Is it an Ausjeep member? If so, how was the general condition, because I feel I missed a bargain on this one

Got a phone call this arvo.

Guy had still not turned up to pick it up so was I still interested?

I am now the proud owner of a 1967 slightly dented and rusty (ex military) CJ5.

Default 1967 Cj on Gumtree


It has been stored for the last 5 years in a shed. Fuel tank needs fixing/replacing. It has been modded badly which I will be getting rid of.

He believes that it was ex military and used to have a machine gun fitted to the roll cage at the time (now gone)

Looking forward to picking it up in a couple of weeks and getting to know more about her.

cant wait to get it home a start slowly taking her apart, and getting to know more about the old CJ's.

There are a couple of older guys living down my street that are Willy's enthusiasts (and have a good knowledge of the military backgrounds of some of the old jeeps) so hoping that once she's on the driveway, I night be able to find out some of her history.

Nice pickup !
I have one in my collection ,very rusty but has most mechanical bits on it ,if you need anything (other than body bits ) I will most likely have it .
its even got a PTO winch(complete) that will bolt straight on to your CJ
