Default Return to center steering stabilisers

I have been looking at the tough dog RTC stabilisers and I know The brand might not be as good as some but is the idea? From the look of it I could actually change it over to anything I am using but would it flog out the steering pump prematurely or is it over kill? Any one using one?

Been there, destroyed that TD is average at best but when it comes to jeeps their even worse. RTC steering dampners are a gimmick IMHO. My TD ROTC steering dampner had lost its adjustment knob function within 3 months and we the whole thing was cactus within another couple. Get a fox and be done with it. If you really want to spend some coin on a steering stabiliser fox now do a fancy double piston one, I forget what it's called, but it's not cheap. Remember that a steering dampner is really just there to "dampen shock through to the steering wheel otherwise if your suspension and steering is up to scratch they shouldn't be doing a lot.

I have the tough dog RTC on my TJ, Has been there for about 8 months with no dramas.

Doesn't make any real difference off road but I do find it stops the jeep from wondering on the road and freeway.

To be honest I am not interested in the actual TD damper just the coil over system they use and putting that on a better grade damper. Not interested in the FOX either as I cant really see what makes it better? Remote reservoir? Through shaft which does the same as the coil over.
"The technologically advanced design cancels unwanted steering forces in both directions, taking the place of two conventional opposing stabilizers"

All I am worried about is the coil putting more stress on the steering pump but I think it should be ok....

Has anyone had experience with the rough country stabiliser?

I can't seem to find that much difference in that kit, from say a fox ats kit, apart from brand and price... Am I wrong? I someone running one and will it suffice?.?

Any opinions would help.
