Hi all my HEMA NAVIGATOR blew up seems the batteries popped. So I was wondering what out of the box unit people are now using ? I don't want to spend big money on a HEMA if its prone to popping .

I use 7" Garmin nuvi 2797, with lifetime maps and traffic, I have topo maps on sd card and switch between them depending on where I am, best voice recognition, heaps better than the built in Bluetooth, great unit.

Did the unit come with all the offroad maps like the Hema ?

Get in touch with Hema. They will service the unit and replace the battery for a reasonable fee from memory.
