Default Roothys Farewell 12th April

Anyone heading up to this event up at landcruiser park on 12 April weekend?

I'll be heading up with a mate on Friday morning and stay the weekend. Should be alright, get the majority of 4wding done on Friday and then come Saturday when it's gonna be packed out like crazy, watch all the patrols break their rides on camp road. Crack open a beer and let the laughter commence

And the word is police and transport inspectors will be checking every vehicle going in. Captive audience. Great way to start an event.

Yeah I imagine it's going to be pretty heavily regulated. Doubt they'll be there Friday morning when I go in although may be surprised. Nothing illegal on my jeep anyway... Yet

Hey guys,

I'm going to head up Friday after lunch about 1pm or so. If anyone's interested in driving up together let me know.

@Teo - Any idea where you'll be camping for the weekend? I'm sure it's going to be packed. I'm hoping to find a good spot by coming up on the Friday.

Cheers,
Bill

I'm heading up tomorrow morning bright and early at 6am

Yeah it's going to be packed out but should be right tomorrow, looking at camping in the gums, toilet block is good there, not that any of them will be any nice after the amount of people going through them.

If you see me round come say hi, white jk 2dr with a mate in his navara.
