Default how do i pick a long arm kit?

So I'm going to be buying another TJ in the future and I'm making a build plan I wish to run a long arm kit and ditch the factory short arms, after doing a look around online it seems long arm kits are a bit like cheese, lots of different makers and a large variety of kits, for those with long arm kits.

How did you come to select your kit and why?

Cheers, James

This might get interesting...
I'd buy the Full Traction kit with the triangulated 4 link rear.

I want the full-traction kit with the triangulated rear. Finally managed to get in touch with them and was quoted $1100 US for shipping alone.

I think finding a container or waiting and ordering via a shop that imports using conatiners will be my only option if I wish to persevere with the full traction kit (baring in mind that was for the UPGRADE kit only as I already have a 4" full traction lift with short arms). I'd hate to imagine what the "zero to hero" full long arm kit would cost in shipping...

My 2cents.
If you are doing the sums on a LA kit, consider planning a WB stretch at the same time

Considering the LA upgrade kit probably weighs ~120kg, that's not a bad price for freight.

It's not shocking (even though it's tough to swallow considering its more than half the price of the kit), but when I accounted for duties/GST on top of that I found that if I went through a store ordering it in a container it would save me about $1300

Don't mean to threadjack but whats involved with the wheelbase stretch and what are the legal ramifications?

I don't mind the thread derail, as long as its suspension related, I don't want to go too overboard with wheelbase still want it to look normal within the wheel arches.
