Default Control Arm Drop Brackets

Coming time for new tyres and getting an alignment done its time to get the castor sorted first. Mrs is a little over the way it rides currently (I think its fine) but I think my hands been played and drop brackets will be the go instead of the planned control arms.

DBOR list Rubicon Express brackets for$200
Murchison list AEV for $230.

Picture looks pretty much identical. With postage they'll work out to be about the same in price as Murchison is close enough to pick up. OR I could get a set sent over from the US a bit cheaper.

Are there any others designed for about 2.5" lift in the front? Measured the spring seat to chassis last night and I'm easily over the 5.5" minimum that the AEV site lists for their version. Not a lot of info on the Rubicon Express version. And all the other versions are single hole location for 3.5-4" lifts that I can find anyway.

Any reason I should go one way or the other?

Check with jeep Konnection for the AEV drop brackets, I paid $140 for a set from them a while ago, they also offer the best customer service down in Vic

Are those designed for a certain lift height? As the description doesn't say?

I could also change out the front springs as they are the Mopar ones so stiff. Might make enough of an improvement to stop the complaining.

went thru checkout at JeepKonection to get postage price. clicked next to see what payment options there are but never inputted payment details as that option never came up, and it gave me an order number. Do they call to get payment details or how do they do it? Not keen on just sending CC# in an email.

Default Control Arm Drop Brackets

Ring Andrew Bottomley at Jeep Konnection. The most helpful bloke around.
