Default Oils Aint Oils Or Are They?

So im relatively new to Jeeps after many years of playing with Land Rovers V8's and diesels.

I have a 99 XJ Sport and its time to do all the oils.
I wont do the auto i'll have that serviced.

What are the correct oils and weights that everyone uses, even brands if your loyal to a particular brand

I'll be doing

Engine
Transfer
Front Diff
Rear Diff
Brake
Power Steering

Sorry if this has been covered before and thanks in advance

Oils ain't oils...

Nah Sol and goils ain't goils.... sorry couldn't help it...

I use Castrol dx3 for the t/case and transmission.
Castrol LSX90 for both diffs unless I'm doing a long trip towing then I run Castrol LSX85w140.
Engine oil usually a 20w50 with a Z9 Falcon oil filter so it takes almost 6 litres of oil.
Brake fluid, either Valvoline or Castrol, mainly Castrol.

Thanks JJ so theres no problem running an LSD oil in the front diff?

Would 85/140 be to heavy to run in both front and rear?

It's only the limited slip additive so I don't believe that there is any issue, I don't think it's necessary to run that heavy an oil unless you're working it hard, ie big tyres or heavy conditions but others may/will have different thoughts on that, it will most likely make it heavier on fuel too so for me LSX90 is sufficient for normal driving...

Engine Is a 5w-30 I use Castrol edge in mine and she runs smooth (230,000km)

Recommend ATF (auto trans fluid) Dex 3 for the transfer case and tranny

Diffs both front and rear go for a limited slip diff oil 80w-140

Power steering I am not sure haven't yet needed to do it

Engine: 10W30 Valvoline with a good WIX filter

Transmission: you dont have to have it serviced, you can do the drain/refill yourself a few times until the ATF stays red. Than you're done for several thousand km's. Use Dex III compatible fluid in your AW4. Not ATF+4, even if they say Chrysler recommends it now. Just stick to the Dex III. If you have it serviced by a shop, make sure they dont put anything else in there.

Diffs: 80W-90 in there with LSD additive in the rear diff. But I'd put the 85W-140 or whatever has the additive in it, in there. If you have a LSD.

Power steering: Mopar power steering fluid.

You might want to change your coolant as well

Thanks for the input so far guys.

Thinking i'll be going Nulon Oils, if anyone has good reason not to now is the time to speak up!

Engine: Nulon 15W40 Semi Synthetic Everyday Oil
Diffs : Nulon 85W/140 LSD or SAE 90 LSD Oil
Transfer : Nulon Multi Transmission Oil Dex III compatible
Transmission : Same as above if i choose to do it myself
Brakes : Nulon Xtreme Performance DOT4
Power Steering : Nulon Full Synthetic Multi Vehicle Fluid
Coolant Nulon : Premium Long Life (Green)

Anyone think i shouldnt be using any of the above?
