In Vic you will get away with it, in QLD you will not. Would you belive the main argument was that ADR2 for door latches is a problem.. They did state if I could get a letter from Jeep Aus that it still met all relevant ADR's it would be OK. Jeep will not provide this letter
I do have a long document I put together for contesting the issue in QLD but gave up to the beurocracy that is QLD transport.
