Default Options for engine swap

Hey so I am planning on moving up to the extreme 4x4 class at some point in the future and am doing some research on what motor to swap in. I am limited to 3.5l turbo or 6.0l na. LS is obviously a pretty good option but really like the idea of a turbo as well. 2JZ is supposed to be relatively simple to swap in and is a good strong motor but they are expensive to buy and especially the R154 manual box to go with it is expensive. RB25/30/26 is another strong motor with an huge amount of aftermarket support and is a bit more reasonably priced but haven't found any info on mating them to the drivetrain. Are there any other options which may be of interest to me?

My main concern for getting it in is mating it to the gearbox or transfer case. I have a manual 98 tj and i would like to keep it manual but don't mind swapping the box out. It also obviously has to fit in the engine bay. Wiring I don't care about it won't have factory jeep wiring anyway. Fuel efficiency and legality is also not an issue.

Mainly what I am looking for in it is power and reliability for a reasonable cost. I will be driving it at both high and low rpm, high and low range but will probably always be in to it.

Any thoughts?
Thanks.

What about an extensive rebuild on the 4 litre lump. Cam, balance, stroke, alloy head, FI upgrade, remap, remove emission crud, high flow exhaust. Surely the USA have an endless supply of hot rod parts for the Hemi 6 with high output motors for the budget conscious.

I considered that but it just isn't comparable to modern motors I'm competing against without boosting it
