Default Indicator not aligned with steering wheel

Hey all,

I'm just wondering if it's normal for the Jeeps to automatically flick off the indicator before you've turned the corner. If I'm going straight and turn the indicator on to turn right around a round about, the indicator will flick of when I move the steering wheel left to go around the round about before turning right to proceed right out of the round about.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yep, normal in roundabouts. The indicator trips off after a 1/8th turn the opposite direction, so it's hard not to trip if you are turning right at a roundabout...

Most cars, and some more recent CJD I believe, trip after 1/4 turn.

can concur.. very annoying but I have learnt to prepare in advance or take the most gentle routes into corners possible to avoid tripping it!

I never even noticed it until some wacker in a previous thread pointed it out. (Thanks for that whoever you were)
I would subconsciously flick it back I guess.
