Default KK to go?

Probably a strange question but better strange than never..
It's coming to the time when the KK just isn't big enough to store all the goods e.g. 3 kids and 1 arriving, their stuff, wife, her stuff, and some corner for mine, particularly when we go for trips.
I am loathe to lose the KK but it appears it will have to be sold. What half-decent off-road vehicle would you get, if you were in my spot?

Default big change

I had a KJ and went to a JKU.....be prepared for a big difference if you go down that road....I love my JKU..but its not a refined drive compared to a KJ or KK. Storage wise it's only a bit bigger. But I can't in good faith recommend a Toyota or Nissan (just because it's not a Jeep )

It's the 4th kiddo! Otherwise I'd run with a WK2. Or retrofit a 6th seat the back?
The Jeep Commander's showing its age,and though i hate to leave Jeep, I might have to! Prado, patrol? doesn't excite me as at all. Is this how it feels after having 4kids?

Mu-x, Colorado 7, or wait for the new Ford Everest which looks like it will be good thing. Jeep really need to build that Grand Wagoneer.

Been driving a std mux diesel on sand for work lately and although well appointed and comfy there isn't any space for gear at all. Performs well on road and dirt but terrible in mud and sand, gear gap too big in the auto dies all the time when changing, have to drive it like a manual on sand. Would not own one if I had that many kids. With that crowd mate your rooted, you'll have to go down the cruiser or patrol path for the space, Prado won't cut it either. 3 kids yeah but not a fourth.

Some guys are moving over to the LR Discovery 3 & 4 for the same reason and it's probably the closest relative to Jeep given the brand has military heritage. The Discovery prices have lowered too, only other 6 seater I can think of is the Pajero but it's well due for a ground up replacement.
