Not sure what the problem is.
Vic goes out of his way to help others, not only in business but also out on trails. I've personally seen him fix broken down Jeeps for no money. Awesome!
He organises WA Jeep Safari and frequent trips for "like minded" Jeepers more so than other clubs there but yet they ain't one. No parochial crap like most clubs. They are also leading a dozen or so WA contingent to the 2015 Jambo. A fired up young bloke will be driving his built D44/D60 40s JK over. Not sure driving it across the continent with 40s is a good idea alas he's young and pumped.
I know some people are upset when told that they can't come on a trip as their Jeeps are just not capable.
The Jeep and Trail Rated badge they sport or the stock 28.5" tyres : do not make them offroadable in some tough terrain. Some owners fail to grasp this and get very defensive. They can't go where Jeeps with 35s, 37s, Lockers, Winch, armour...etc, go.
The reason why they are told that they cannot come for some hard trails is because these people just want to go out and enjoy the day like everyone else and not spend it on the recovery of one or two vehicles.
To each, their own I guess.
