Now that it's illegal to run a windshield lightbar in WA, I've had to demount mine and am looking at other options.
I'm thinking of going with a pair of pillar mounted LED spotties (since the regs only seem to refer to 'bars').
Seems to be a myriad of size/price options out there, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations? I've already got the wiring for the lightbar done, so I was thinking of reusing that.

Pillar mounted lights and bonnet mounted lights fall under the no-no catagory as the "have the potential" to cause harm in the event of a collision with a pedestrian.
Same as it is illegal to have fishing rod holders on a car bull bar.
Yeah I know, if they are rolling over the bonnet they have already been hit by a 1800kg car.

I have a pair of 40W Aurora LED cubes angled outwards....only used off-road (I have black out covers on them on-road), they let me see around the corners in a track and light up skip and his mates watching from the sidelines.
