Default 2016 jku Rubicon 5 speed auto axle ratios

hi, i recently ordered a new 2016 jku Rubicon auto, and i read somewhere on an american forum that the autos comes with 3.73 axle ratios instead of the normal 4.10s, is this correct? seeming as the newer jks have the 5 speed instead of the old 4 speed im thinking it might have changed?... i looking to run between a 33 inch Tyre and a 35 inch Tyre so that little bit of gearing will make just enough difference. ( and before some one tells me i should have the manual... i own a 2011 jku Rubicon manual but i have to sell it as i injured my wrist at work !! hence the new jeep. any information will be greatly appreciated as jeep didn't know how to find out what axle ratios my jeep would come with -_- cheers

My 2015 rubi auto came with 4.10's. Im pretty sure thats all they come with in Aus. I asked for it to be noted down on my order regardless as i wanted to make sure.

You say recently ordered - get the dealer to give you the VIN - then you can download the build sheet and see exactly what it has installed into it using this web site https://jeep.custhelp.com/app/jeep/e...cFE2aHZUQm0%3D

5 speed auto was introduced in 2011 diesel / 2012 petrol. Rubicon has had 5 speed auto since 2012 with 3.6l V6. I understand Australian and NZ spec are 4.10 ratios.

Axle ratio is an option in the US but Australian JK Rubicons are 4.1 only.
