Default New member just bought a Jeep

Just wanted to say hello, I'm Graham just bought my first ever 4wd. I'm mopar crazy have some Dodge, Plymouth, and Chrysler cars so a Jeep was the natural choice. Was originally looking for an Xj but got a nice wj grand Cherokee. Very happy with it.

Probably have lots of questions along the way.

Edit: sorry I now see there's a section for this post. Mods please move if possible.

Good choice on Mopar mate, the GC looks a good one. I've only ever had falcons till I bought my XJ though the one car I've always wanted above all others is an AP5 Valiant with the push button Torqueflite. Found one years ago, tried to buy it but the owner said he was going to keep it till he died. There's plenty of Jeep knowledge on here & lots of helpful people if you want info. Welcome to Jeeps. Regards oldon.

Welcome Graham. You will find heaps of useful info here, just use the search button and also ask away.

Most reside in the WJ/WG section. Which WJ is it?

Most active resident are Bleet and Fester's sister..

There are some WJ parts in the for sale section too.

Also put where you're from so people can help you out better in the future.

Hey Tyvokka thanks I'm from Brisbane northside, will update profile and check out the for sale section too. The Jeep is a Laredo 2001 model year. V8 engine. Only had it two days but already come across some bigger wheels and tyres, couldn't help myself and just had to try them on haha. Obviously needs a lift. :-P

Nice.

A few guys have bigger tyres too so all the knowledge is there with regards to springs, shocks, arms, trackbar, swaybar, death wobbles, backspacing, flares, legality, engineering certificates, measurements etc.. Super charger?

Any upgrades can also be done at Murchison Products, Brendale. Not too far from you.

Hammertone is building his in the Jeep Build section further down.

They are the experts there. A mate from Amberly has done 35s with extensive mods he did himself and at Murchison's workshop. Many other WJs were worked there.
