Default 2015 wk2 tpms

G'day All,

Just bought a 2015 JGC Limited with 18" wheels and want to personalise the vehicle to suit my needs. I have acquired some extra 18" rims and want to get some TPMS sensors to suit. Trying to find the correct part number is proving real challenge as I'm trying to avoid paying $130+ per sensor.

A quick search has found a part # for the 2014 WK2 but I'm unsure if these will fit a 2015 model.

Anyone able to help.

Cheers,

DM

For the money you are likely to spend, it might be a better option to get the Tyre Dog external system for both sets of tyres. I just did a strip and replacement of my TPMS for 5x wheels when getting them powder coated and Jeep wanted to charge $130 a piece for the full TPMS with valve stem. All I needed was the valve stems, so I bought a set from Stu at Murchison Products in Brisbane and had them air bagged out to me.

If you can get another set of TPMS from someone selling their stock wheels, changing them over to your new wheels is going to at least cost the valve stems, as they could break when getting removed, and most tyre places won't re-fit the old ones as a broken one could leak.

Once you get the part number order from the US. Just received ine for my 2015 Cherokee and ended up at $45 Aus incl freight. Was asking $179 at the dealer.

I'm also looking at a spare set of 18's to replace my 20's on 2015 Summit. According to this "http://wk2jeeps.com/wk2_tpms.htm" site the correct tpms are

(2011-2015 Sensor (433MHz) 56029398AB (includes sensor, cap and mounting nut) or
Superseded by
68241067AB (includes sensor, cap and mounting nut)

But after reading this thread am a bit confused?..

http://www.jeepgarage.org/f109/tire-...mit-69653.html

So my question is has any one with a 2015 Summit been successful with this and if so what tpms did you order?

Thanks and regards Mark.

I bought these after much research.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/331734135...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Although, I have not yet had a chance to test them. I bought 2 and put one on the spare (which I changed over to an alloy rim)

Cheers,

DM
