Default HID headlights, roof rack Jeep JK

Asking Price: ono
Condition: used
Location: Newcastle
I bought a set of HID's from another member (brand new), they are from HIDprojectors.com

I installed via temporary wiring (the harness is perfectly fine) just to see if I would like it. After thought, I would prefer to get a set of KC Hilites using H4 bulbs. They glow fine, on parklight it glows with red circle.

Not profiting, paid a bit for them, but all things considered, $160 is fair.

Also, I'm sure the steel alone is worth more, but $40 for KargoMaster Congo Cage roof rack for 2dr 2008 Jk. It does not have the bolts, but mounting brackets are there. Just want it out of the yard.

If u buy the rack, I suggest the following improvements:

1. weld gussets each side of the welded joints where long tubes attach to front and rear cross bars. This will prevent them coming apart when u don't want them to
2. weld a strengthening bracket onto (actually under) the 2 holding brackets that attach to the front of the body/front window as these r prone to fatigue cracks.

These will make the Kongo cage much stronger and reliable and also lessen movement a little.

3. I also bolt on 2 extra long pipes with fencing brackets as this adds a little strength and also helps to reduce vibration.

I have had a Kongo cage for 7+ years and it is still going strong, with these modifications.
