Default Wheel Alignment

With the springs still settling in and new tyres I needed to do the toe in so made this to be more accurate than tape measure

If I turn full lock left I can squeeze this in at the back of rims (sitting on arms the measurement is close on centre height of rim).
Turn back to centre and set distance.
Had 4mm toe out. Reset bar and now have an easy way of resetting toe in just by fitting to front of rims and adjusting to set length.

Would a tyre shop be better for the sake of $40?

Try $65 ago and I never seem all that impressed most times.

Seem to have more luck doing it myself on a live axle. Plus my springs are still settling in so I don't want to be spending the money each time it sags
Stupid Y Steering arms. When I do my WG brake knuckle conversion then I won't have the problem of toe in changing as the front end moves up or down.

And yes tape measure is a pain.

JaffaZoom you have basically made yourself a Trammel Bar

Makes doing a quick wheel alignment at home quite easy. I have seen them made from PVC pipe which telescope inside each other and hose clamps to secure them.

A $40.00 alignment is just a 'Toe N Go' they generally are not the best on modified vehicles as all they care about is that is within the stated range in the manual..not whether it drives well.
