'08 JK shorty.
I have an annoying rattle in the dash somewhere that comes and goes. I pulled off a couple of plastic covers under the steering wheel. I found a disposable lighter and this (pictured). Switch is broken but wondered if this is standard Jeep thing or something else (jet booster switch ) any idea?
That switch will allow you to turn them off when you don't need them. Generally its a good idea not to blind the average road user when you flick your high beams, and I think there is some legislation that refers to the use of accessory driving lights within 500m of a built up area, but it might vary from state to state.
