Default bluetooth pulsing on/off

My WK2 my12 uconnect RB2 431 radio Bluetooth is now pulsing on and off. My service dpt has had a look and said I need a new radio. At over $3000 that's not for me as the rest of the radio is working fine. I have done a lot of google research and confident all I need is a new Bluetooth module.
How ever I can't find it.
I have looked in both L/R kick panels, removed the glove box, under the steering wheel and behind the center radio bezel.
Does any one know where it is ?
Once I find it I can get the part number and order a new module.

Mien has recently started doing something similar whereby the bluetooth cuts in and out. However it only started happening post firmware update.

I also believe the bluetooth module would be embedded in the headunit.
