I got the replacement computer from the UK and finally got rid of the air bag light.

Even though I may not have the latest version deleting the front sensors, not sure if I want to go through the hassle of going through recall and dealing with the dealership again.

The whole thing is a farce.

I called up the dealer to book it in (the same dealer who looked at the car last year to confirm the module type). They insisted they need it again for half a day to confirm module type. And it will come back to them again for installation. Basically said that whatever info they gleaned from the car last year was sent to FCA and is now lost. I'm sure someone is just being lazy.

Interestingly I called FCA and they said the parts are ready for the KJ, but not the WG (told them I had a letter suggesting it's ready - guy I spoke to had no knowledge of it). This was a couple of weeks ago.

I'm going to wait a few months and when I feel like getting screwed around I'll book it in again.

Yeah, I received one a couple of weeks ago.
I might think about it when I've got more time LOL
