JK A pillar 2 gauge pod.

Does anyone make a right hand 2 gauge pod for the A pillar? I have searched high and low and came up empty. Need help.

There used to be one made by a guy in Sydney from fibreglass. Whilst style is a personal matter I didn't like the look. Unfortunately the quality and fit of them ended up being poor so they just disappeared off the market.

IIRC Hunty ( AJOR user name ) knew the guy so perhaps PM him.....

I've only ever come across one for sale a few years ago on ebay and never saw them since. You would be really lucky to get one.

As MM said. I have one & it is a bit on the dodgy side. It isn't secuered by the clips and the finish doesn't match. But it sits there & holds the gauges ok, and that was what I cared about!

Not hard to make your own "one off" gauge pod using a spare A pillar cover and some PVC or thin wall metal tube for the gauge mounts.
You then stretch thin stretch material over the unit to get the pleasing shape you want, and use resin to harden the material, then build a layer or two of chopped strand F'glass for some strength.....some sanding, filling and paint (or find a company that can vacuum cover with vinyl).

Its not a method that stands up well for mass production, but for a one time job, it works well. I made a formed rear parcel tray to cover some seat belt retractors on a car I restored....looked good.
