Default Removal of factory Visteon DVD unit? Help

I have a 03 Grand Cherokee Limited CRD with the factory Visteon DVD headrests and DVD player mounted at the rear of the centre console (where the slide out cupholders would normally be).
I'm trying to remove the centre console so I can get to various faults but I can't figure out how to remove the DVD head unit that sits at the rear of the centre console. Once I remove that head unit I'll be able to access the last couple of screws holding the centre console in place.
Can anyone help as I tried searching the forum but can't find anything about removing the DVD head unit.

Don't worry I figured it out. There were 2 prongs underneath the headings so I just had to lift it high enough to clear the mouth of the headunit opening.

Glad to hear you got it sorted.

You probably wouldn't have received much of a response because as far as I know that option was pretty rate.

Had 3 WG's that had the Visteon system fitted, first came
from auctions and previous owner had dismantled the
system to try to get it working, I had a bit of a look when I
bought it but gave up as not required. Next one came with
remote control, seems it is the key, the system won't work
without the remote, and it must be aimed at the screen not
the DVD..

Have fun

I've got 2 remotes with this car. I'll chuck some batteries in the remotes and see how I go. Just waiting for my new PCB gearshift board to arrive from Estonia before I put it all back together.
