Default Fender Flare Rivets, Where to Buy?

Hey Guys,

I am looking to remove the plastic fenders on my KJ Sport to paint them (please no arguments on what's the best method here. ) and wondering where others have sourced the plastic rivets used to attach them. I've no doubt the OEM rivets would be stupidly expensive. I expect I'll also need to purchase a plastic rivet gun.

I'll also be removing the door strips and the rear bumper if anyone has done this.

Any advice gratefully accepted. Thanks,

Indie.

Thanks for that link T&P. What did you use for a rivet gun?

They look to me as though a standard Pop Rivet tool will do the trick

Well I've ordered them so we'll find out. I have seen different looking rivet guns linked with the plastic rivets so not sure if they are too large a diameter to fit the normal gun. As mentioned I'll see when they get here and post up.

I thought i could use my normal rivet gun but it turned out any of the inserts are too small in diameter. Ended up using just 2 pliers to pull them close and then a side cutter to cut the reminder off. Worked well for me.
