Default Pressure error codes post major servicing - CRD

Hi All,

Completed a major service on the 09 KK 2.8 CRD today (220k/km). Installed new water pump, timing belt, TB tensioner, new serpentine idlers, radiator flush, & oil+filter.

Starts and seems to run fine, but in a small version of limp mode. Max RPM is 3k, and limited on max power.

On OBD I get two error codes P012C & P0113.

P0113 is Air Intake Sensor high problems
P012C Turbocharger/Supercharger Inlet Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Downstream Of Throttle Valve

Has anyone else seen these codes before? I am assuming it is the MAP sensor that also has a temp sensor inside but I am not 100% sure. I have removed the sensor and tried to clean a little with no luck.

Going around the town I have no issues getting up to speed. Boost sits around 14-20 psi according to OBD, Manifold temps seem to stay around 45C (I would have through they could go higher).

Any ideas?

Well $130 later from Bursons a new MAP sensor did not fix the problem.

Will have to do some electrical fault finding unless there are any other ideas?

Are you certain the cam belt timing is absolutely spot on?

Thanks for the reply mate.

As sure as I can be. Marked up pully orientation and belt teeth for replication. I guess I wouldn't rule it out as a possibility though, thought this would be an odd set of errors to have if that was the case.

It does idle perfect, and seems to drive fine in the main torque spot but limited to below 3k rpm.

Marking up the old belt is still not fool proof way, with out the cam lock tools and crank locking tools, following the old stretched belts measurements and replicating it with the new belt its incorrect.
3k limit sounds like a air flow meter limp mode. using Torque or a scanner can you see the what the MAF is reading?

Thanks for the help mate.

I haven't checked MAF reading in Torque, only the boost & airtemp.

Is the MAF one of the airbox sensors? Unplugging one of them makes a minor change in engine idle, the other makes it rough as guts. Assuming those changes are active I thought they are working OK.

Worst case I can test again with old belt and markings... Like you said not fool proof.

OK so MAF is working fine, I stripped everything back, removed the TB and rechecked marks. All ok so I am 95% sure the TB alignment is correct.

Where I should have started is looking closer at the Airbox sensor. While I thought it was fine, have a look at the image below.

Can anyone assist with the part number? Mine has rubbed off, and my google fu is letting me down. A photo of your sensor located in on the airbox will be brilliant if anyone can assist.
edit * ep-9451-r3a does look like a part number of sorts... Now Found Jeep # K56044591AA

Ambient temp in Torque is listing 0 degrees C...
Will leave Timing belt exposed until this is solved though.
