Default JK Wrangler cleaning product recommendations and advice?

Hi all,

I'm seeking some advice and helpful tips regarding cleaning products (liquids, sprays, creams etc) for my 2010 JK Wrangler. I'll most likely be shopping at Supercheap Auto or Autobarn etc but if there are some highly regarded products that can only be purchased online/from an overseas supplier, please list below.

Interior and exterior products. I'm sure many products apply to this broad question/category, but I was wondering if there are any products that are specifically designed to be used/most beneficial for JK Wranglers, over any other vehicles?

Particularly interior cleaning products for the steering wheel, dash panel and any other piece of plastic trim in the interior of a JK. Most importantly won't remove the white lettering on the dash panel, radio buttons, instrument knobs etc.

My question regarding cleaning products is also applicable to the exterior of the JK. Again, also considering the large amount of plastic exterior trim.

Any chamois or clothes better than another brand?

Recommendations on glass cleaning products that won't remove/damage the factory window tint?

I'll also be topping up the oil sooner or later. So what good quality engine oil is recommended?

If there are any points of interest or anything that I should take into consideration regarding the cleaning of a JK Wrangler, please don't hesitate to list suggestions and tips below.

Cheers.

If you are buying from Supercheap or Autobarn, you aren't going to get anything that's in the top of the detailing range.

However, I would suggest as a start from these places, the Autoglym range are quite good for your polish and sealant.

Don't use a sponge use 2 lambs wool wash mitts, one for the body panels and the other for rims and underside. Don't mix them.

Don't use a chamois to dry, buy some waffle weave micro fibre drying towels. If you can't get them from Supercheap you can get them at:
https://www.carcareproducts.com.au/p..._weave_x_large

Get 3 if you can afford it, 2 for the body and 1 for the wheels and other really dirty areas.

Bowdens Own sell a really good car wash (Auto Body Gel).

Buy a product called Vuplex for the inside windows (you can get it at Bunnings or some auto stores). It's a plastic polish/cleaner and its ammonia free so perfect for window tint as it will not harm it like most glass cleaners. It can be used for the outside windows, headlights / Tail lights as well.
