Default WK Road Tyres 20 Inch

hello I have a 2011 GC WK Limited V6 petrol and was wondering if anyone can recomend a 20inch tyre for my car? 100% highway usage and road noise major consideration and wear, cars is my wifes and used to cart the kids around. Had a set of maxiss on and got about 40 k out of them but they had high road noise.

I Highly recommend Cooper Discoverer SRX tyres https://www.coopertires.com.au/our-range/4x4-tyres/srx/

Had mine on for over 60,000 Klm's. Quiet, smooth and give good fuel economy. Look like they have at least another 30,000 Klm's left.

Cheers, Craig

I can highly recommend Nitto Terra Grapplers in 265 50 20

Had them on my last car D4 & they were great - quiet ,good on road, and an all terrain pattern.
Did about 40,000km on them and they had heaps to go.
Drove better than the factory road tyres.

Hi Chuck2, I remember you from AULRO forum. I am Disco4SE.
Re: The Nittos......I have heard that they hum a bit on the road. Is this the case? Looking at getting an all terrain after my Coopers wear out. Happy with the Coopers, but wouldnt mind something more aggresive for the building sites.

BTW: Are you happy with the Jeep compared to the Disco?

Cheers, Craig

The Khumo's KL21's that came from Factory did well when I had them. Very quiet and I got about 53,000km out of them.

I have had my Nitto's Terra Grapplers for 65,000km and although their good for my use on/offroad use, they are noisy.

I am also up for a change this month so will look at normal radials for the 20", probably will go Khumo's or Archillis or something.

I will get better AT tyres for the 18" set.

I currently have Maxis Maruder 2 and would not recommend, they are extremely loud on road and they started to crack after 20K, done about 35k on them and just had a side wall puncture.
