Lightbulb Interior LED Lights

I'm over it Yes the missus left the rear door open when she got the Dog out and I didn't discover until the next morning ...... 11 hours on the Battery Charger Later !!!
Didn't go where I wanted to Go did I ... Cant drive a Lowered PT Cruiser in the Bush
I remembered reading on here that someone had changed to LED Bulbs in the Interior ....... ?
I looked around and there are some XJ Kits from the USA .. $? Price
I looked on eBay and took a gamble and bought 2 x 14 piece led bulb sets for car interiors as I will swap the PT over as well .... There were 2 sorts convex and ? anyway I got one of each to be sure (that's what you call Gambling Responsibly) only $3.33 each with Free Postage and about 3 weeks to wait from China +57c GST....
So some of them are bound to fit

How do you take the interior light covers off? I haven't had a good look at them as yet more concerned about the ones in the overhead console anyway it will be a couple of weeks before they arrive from China

so the overhead ones are 42mm (I think) loop end

the inside ones at your knees are some common type as well
..says in the FSM what bulb type it is

LEDs that come on with the door are a no brainer for any vehicle,
especially off-roader...I can leave my XJ door open all day without a care.

what people dont realise is a lead acid start battery really hates being run dead flat, a few of them when the battery is a bit old will kill it off

the light covers in mine just come off using fingers

If they have gone yellow, yeah there probably old and stuffed. There is a newer style bulb that has same h4/3? Connectors.
Not that cheap but. $80? A pair....
I might try an and bypass the dash dimmer switch to see if that is holding back bolts to dash lights. I can't even really see my temp gauge !!
My 97 has led parking and cab lights.
