Default ETC Problems

2019 GC Trailhawk 3mths old just turned 5000ks On freeway doing constant 115k/h hear a bang out back like a backfire, engine light and Service ETC light come on, vehicle goes into limp mode, pull over, stop, restarted half a dozen times the warning lights come on and vehicle stays in limp mode.
Anyway, it's been towed to a dealer, told it needs parts, which may be in next week.
Trying to get a lone car now.
Has anyone experienced this problem before?

Only when the intercooler hose came off the plastic muffler under the bonnet. Fixed it on the side of the road with a couple of cable ties as I couldn't find where the clamp went to. Cable ties held til I could get to a shop and bought a proper clamp. You may have a different problem.

Dealer tells me, they need to order parts from US as these are not available in Aus. will take 4-6wks.
They have provided me with a Laredo in the mean time which is fair enough.
This is my third WK2 first one was ok after they replaced a fuel rail under warranty, the second one was a gem, didn't need a thing other than servicing.
If it wasn't company policy to change at 3yrs. I'd still have it.

They say if you give a million monkeys, a million typewriters,
That you will eventually get the works of Shakespeare.
The internet has proven that isn't true.?
