Default Clicking noise?

I’ve had my GC now for a few weeks, and when my window is down I’ve noticed a clicking noise every 7-8 seconds. It’s one click at a time, and the frequency is constant. I thought it might have been a relay, but the dealer I bought it from said it’s the injectors setting themselves? Odd or normal? It’s a 3.6 petrol. Thanks.

I’ve been told it’s the solenoids in the transmission and that this is normal.

Still getting this from a lot of people on Facebook. Transmission and/or transfer case solenoids.

I've noticed it also. Usually when pulling out of my driveway I hear a tick... tick... tick...
Does it mean the solenoid is going bad or just ignore it?

I’ve been “stalking” other owners in the local supermarket car park. Every time a GC owner drives pass I listen. And guess what? I’m hearing that clicking noise, but only when they drive slowly. I’m not worried now.

The last time I heard clicking noises was when I watched the Adams Family.

It's a tough one as there is so many bloody solenoids and such that could make the noise.
