Default jeep wont start

hello everyone,
yesterday my 2002 2.7 crd jeep just shut down while driving, couldnt start it up again, i did a diagnose on it and got these
the last one is new i never got p0340 code, so i bought a new cmp position senor but the car still wont start
i have to mention that when i floor the car there is a huge cloud of black smoke and then the engine just cuts off, it doesnt happen during the winter only when its hot outside, the same problem with the smoke, i replaced my pressure sensor like a year ago and after that the car didnt start, i got it to a shop and they rebuild 2 of my injectors then the car run fine, it is possible that some injectors failed? or it could simply the pressure senor failed on me again? thank you everyone

You could have a faulty injector or two or air in the fuel lines.

Was it hard to start or running rough prior to this issue or did it just stop all of a sudden?

1. I'd check to see if there are any air bubbles in the fuel lines as this could cause a hard starting issue. If there are bubbles you'll need to replace the rings not eh fuel lines.

2. Faulty injectors with excessive fuel return could be the problem. I'd suggest trying to disconnect the fuel return line off of the top of one or two on the fuel injectors and see if the car starts.

Why do this you ask? If there's a fuel pressure issue (low pressure) and it could be related to excessive fuel being returned from an injector to the fuel pressure regulator which is complaining about it and reducing the fuel pressure.

Disconnecting the lines is a simple test to eliminate the return fuel to the pressure regulator. If this allows the car to start this may indicate where you need to start looking, if it doesn't you'll need to keep looking.

I don't expect that the P1270 issue is relevant at the moment, and the P0340 is probably not an issue either but you never know.

As per bodgie's post, I was getting excessive leak back on a couple of injectors and the car would stall if I pushed it up around 3000 rpm.

As I understand it, the fuel pump is working hard to maintain fuel rail pressure and if you push it, and there is excessive leak back, then the car will stall.

In my case I would just restart it and the MIL light would come on with the P1130.

But of course overtaking or pushing it when you don't want the car to stall isn't ideal.

In my case I never saw the swirl motor or CMP fault, but they might be red herrings or simply triggered a fault when the car stalled.

P0340 is because the crank and cam signals did not sync when attempting to start (not enough time cranking maybe).
