Default EGR coolent leak
Hi, well in preparation for a 4 day trip tomorrow I was going over the jeep. Went to check the oil and smelt a slight wiff of coolent. Seems I've developed a slight coolent leak (see pics).
No dripping as yet. What do you think my chances are over the next 4 days with it left the way it is. 2014 diesel.

And anyone replaced just the o rings in this or is it better to replace the whole unit.

Well the good news, its going to external and I’ve had to deal with plenty of cars with that picture, In my view, you are good to go for the 4 day but checking regularly as you have actually spotted this well in advance of others. Just my thoughts as its a small leak and this area will not explode.

Cheers Mousie, yeah I'll keep an eye on it. Something I'll need to deal with down the track. Either replace or delete it altogether.
