Default Laredo Speaker Upgrade

I've never been real happy with the sound quality in my 2015 Laredo and thinking maybe the speakers are below par. After advice from anyone that has replaced original speakers in the basic Laredo sound system.

Vehicle sound systems can become very technical. Here is an interesting forum on the 2015 with 6 speaker system - https://www.jeepgarage.org/threads/u...limited.85091/

I felt the same , with my 2011 Laredo that the sound wasn't great

i was forced however to take a different approach when my head unit died.

i replaced it with a Pioneer HU and the sound quality is 100% better,

from my experience the speakers are OK but the factory HU is just adequate

something to consider.

All good food for thought fellas. Some of the technical threads do my head in, I'm no sound engineer but do know what sounds nice and what doesn't. Do the higher end model GC with the 9 speaker system have a different head unit, or the same plus an amp?
