Default Body Control Module BCM - Location?

Hi

Can anyone tell me where the BCM "module-body control" is located? It's an MY14 Overland diesel. Have lost my Front RHS DRL and turn indicator. Both fuses are OK.
Amy ideas appreciated.
Cheers

Hey Gazza1. BCM is supposed to be behind passenger side kick panel in cabin. Service docs do say there are no serviceable fuses or parts on BCM so testing this would be last resort and would indicate BCM needs replacing.

Quickest way would be to first check with OBD reader for DTC’s (trouble codes).
Make sure functions of the microcontroller multifunction unit (stick on left of steering that controls turn signal) is working to ensure not a fault with that unit.

Sounds like a possible relay or bad ground connection. Some tips from service and repair docs -
If Halogen/HID headlights make sure they work in low and high beam before further investigation

Causes
Ineffective or missing bulb
Ineffective ground circuit
Ineffective feed circuit
Ineffective BCM inputs or outputs

- Test circuits
- BCM to be diagnosed with diagnostic scan tool.

I use AppcarFCA, it’s be great to date. I know many use AlphaOBD and looks good also.

Cheers

Thanks very much Jimmy. I will be going to have a look. Strange um getting no error messages.bi only noticed it when I was walking away from my car and looking out I noticed RHS indicator didn't flash. Strange as rear left and wing mirror ok but also that front DRL also packed up. I'm getting a turn voltage at the lamp but it goes to 6V when off and no voltage at all for the DRL. I was suspecting an earth fault somewhere but will go and have a look at for the BCM now.
Thanks very much for the info.

Sounds like your close! Any chance the bulb might be dead? Good your getting power at the lamp though. Sounds like earth I agree. Let us know what you find.

The BCM is on the RHS behind the kick panel in front of the door frame.

Correct, when reading the Workshop manual or other instructions you must remember they drive on the wrong side of the road hence drivers side is really the passenger side, schematics will refer to RH or LH side and meaning looking at vehicle from the rear or inside looking forward.

BCM right of accelerator, TCM under the passengers seat usually unless you have a stupid stop/start battery fitted...............it may still be there, I'm not sure.
