Default Remote Start via OBD2

Has anyone activated the remote start on their 11-13 WK2, curious on how you did it, i found a video a while back that showed how to do it, so i checked the settings via Alphaobd and it seems mine has the features required, so i ordered a new key with the remote start button, the tailgate button and the boot button, programmed it accordingly so all the features work, but i can't for the life of me, remember how to activate the remote start, nor can i find the bloody video [emoji2357]

I have activated mine through Alfa too and modded my original key so all the buttons work, the flipper glass etc now open with the key but I can't get remote start to work either. Mine will tell me on the dash that remote start disabled etc when the lift gate is open, so the module must be there. I read a while back that there is another setting to change in Alfa but I can't for the life of me remeber what it is or find it or the post again. Apparently all of the Grands up to 2013 had the module, that's why the key has the button, not the little clicker thingo in it though, just need to add it, from 2014 onwards the whole electrics are different.

I have searched high and low, have not been able to find a single one relating specifically to the WK2, heaps of Durango vids (which is apparently pretty similar), but the AlphaOBD settings are different and impossible to find..

If you know of any that are relating to the WK2 and can post a link, that would be awesome!!

I am in the same boat, bought a new key from the states with all the extra buttons, got the tailgate unlock button to work, the flipper glass to work, but can't remember where to find the remote start settings (one is to activate remote start, the other was to change the hood latch setting or something)

I tried enabling the hood ajar switch, it didn't work, I am fairly sure there is somewhere else in the myriad of settings that you have to enable remote start

On another make I have to remote start you have to press the lock button and secure the car first and within 10sec press and hold the remote start button for 3 secs.
