Default 2010 WH diesel egr clean.

Chasing a bit of hesitancy on startup .No codes .Puff of black smoke.Thought I would chase the cheapest first.!New glow plugs second lot in 200000 klms.
No better.egr out and clean this morning. First clean in that klms ,very little carbon build up etc.Had Provent on since near new.1.5 hours to get out, cleaned with oven cleaner ,like new .15 minutes to put back in.! Try in the cold tomorrow .Next step maybe glow plug module, then new injectors.

How did you go with this ?? You know you can fix the glow plug module, the problem with the 2 modules I have fixed was just some busted aluminium wires which I replaced with copper wires.

OK, good luck, the 2 WHs that I fixed the GP module on both had a code up for the module before the fix, so if you have no codes module is probably OK. For future ref. there is a good vid on you tube from an aussie showing his step by step on repair of the module on a MB car with the 3.0 crd. How many KMs have the injectors done, wondering about the injector life in my own WH?
