Default reverse trigger wire tap into

Hi Folks, I have a mates car and had to wire up a reversing caravan camera that comes with a green 'reverse trigger wire'. Has anyone located a wire source other than from all the way back to a reverse light. MY14 Laredo. If not then its pull another cable from the back to front again.

Okay folks, worked it out, the reverse lights White with light green stripe) and two of then run in the main wiring loom from driver footwell along the runners and up to the rear 12v plug area. I just found it was easy to get to the mid section on the rear cargo panel out and tap in and yep, run another feed up the well. The white and green stripe was mentioned in a 2011 Jeep so the colours have not changed.

If anyone was gonna figure it out it would be you!!
Re your great work with map up dates- my 8.4 unit has the 16.13.13 firmware
so im assuming updates will work.
Im currently looking for a coding guru here in perth , pay some $ and guide him to your notes to try load up the unit with some decent maps.
Be great if there were some sort of pre loaded sd card for us coding illiterates!!

I've come across this issue too and the simplest method to do it is to tap into the reverse light.

Nowadays for any of this stuff I tap into the trailer wiring harness so much easier than pulling panels and digging around, doesn't upset the BCM either.
