Default Liqui moly “diesel” intake cleaner

Hi, has anyone used Liqui Moly Diesel Intake Cleaner on their 3.0 CRD?
Do you have to remove the MAF SENSOR before you use the cleaner?
And what were the results after using the cleaner, ie is it worth doing?

Can't talk from experience, but from what I've read in regards to any diesel running a DPF, all the carbon/ soot/ any shit in the intake goes straight into the combustion chamber, as expected with a running engine, coating the back of the intake valves then the fine perforations in the DPF act as a ( rice collinder) and become blocked as all the gunk is expelled out through the exhaust, then performance drops off, fault code for DPF Burn off is displayed, the list goes on, I've thought 😉 of it as preventative maintenance but to me and from others who have done it, Do So @ Your Own Risk as the implications can be very costly, Like pouring hot cooking fat down a drain, sure the sink is clean but all that hot oil has now cooled down and coated and stuck to everything down stream, effectively blocking it, same principle with intake cleaner, but hey each to their own, if you do use it, let us all know how it all went, Cheers

Agree with OL MATE....without a DPF the shyte would blow out the exhaust...you could add the 'goo' n do a long run cleaning the internals up...but...with a DPF and all the 'electricky' involved with the running of these engines adding an intake cleaner 'may' cause issues you dont already have...only my opinion which counts for nothing

I've seen videos of people doing it with modern diesels and claiming they had no issues, went for long drive afterwards etc to get the soot cooker up to temp, however there'd be no way I'd be squirting that mystery fluid into my intake and loosening up all the gunk. I reckon the only way to propelry clean it, is to remove it or replace it.

Did you find those videos on youtube? Would highly appreciate if you share them.
I will finish my translations here https://pickwriters.com/vietnamese-translation-services and need to take of the car for the upcoming big trip.
Never have time to prepare anything in advance with this super busy life.
