Default I visited Hall's Gap....

So I decided to spend a few days at Hall’s Gap in the Grampians Ranges Victoria recently… and very nice it was too. But very wet and very windy which was unusual for the time. However, the upside was that I got to see waterfalls etc in full flood (pretty much) and a lot of greenery. Usually where I go it is dry and arid and dusty.

Many roos and wallabies about, and birdlife. Park was pretty quiet in relation to visitors. Did plenty of walking trails (most pretty easy) but didn't lose much weight. Damn!!

Will go again in February when a bit warmer and also when perhaps some of the wild flowers will be blooming.

It's a magical area alright. And in total contrast to the Wimmera/Mallee deserts right next door. Hope the roos left you alone, they can get a bit 'over friendly' around Halls Gap - speaking from experience!
