Default Jeeper6s big lap

All going good, have covered 10,000 kms since mid May...now in Denham. Did first oil & filter change at Kununurra in a truck bay at 5600kms. Did another oil & filter change at Carnarvon 2 days ago at 5300kms down the back of the caravan park...also changed fuel filters and air filter.
I was a bit concerned with the fuel as the Bowser stalled and ran out after 20 litres at Onslow. A small amount of discoloured fuel dropped out when I unscrewed the drain,,,have been adding Fuel Doctor regularly to help out.
{Impossible to book in to a workshop without 3 weeks notice so no big deal to do this stuff where ever.)

Will be in Perth in a couple of weeks. I can't remember who had the filters they wanted to sell in Perth...was it you Grippy?

Well its good your going well, I'm due for an oil change in 1800kms, the dash says I'm at 60% I think it was at 80% at 5,000km....................... Can't recall who had those filters either but "Filters Plus" in Kewdale near Perth airport is the place I sometimes buy filters from.

That was me. I have a couple of air filters and have a spare fuel (single only) if you get stuck. I got a dud fuel filter that leaked so changed that out but have one left. Might good to have in case of emergency to replace the first filter?

PM me when in Perth if on your way if you still want them.

If you dont want to pay for Mopar fuel filters, buy Wesfil one, pretty close to the Jeep ones but way cheaper.
Wouldn't bother with Repco ones, they have a paper element and not sure about there filtering.

Who buys Mopar filters ????????
Wesfil and Ryco are owned by GUD and I'm quite happy with either and you never know from batch to batch where they are made...... The old WG I would use Mann Filters then when I was doing the tranny I saw the Made in Germany had become made in China ....... I would be worried about using a no name brand but Wesfil, Ryco or even a repco brand wouldn't concern me, some of the yank brands that I may have used years ago now they just feel suss and cheap..
